Some Unfinished Business: Middle and North Moat 9/28/11

another fine TR . . .and that's some world-class planking by Mike. Could lead to pursuits of a new list in the Whites . . . "Plank the 48 Summits" or PTFS.

    A Twin Redemption - N Twin, S Twin, Galehead - 9-25-11

Fantastic TR, Mark! The narrative and the photos, just awesome. Obviously sorry about the Mike/Donna/moose incident but could have come out much worse as we all know. My wife and I were similarly very lucky two summers ago, a few hours after Seek the Peak, and I'll tell this briefly just to...

Nice report Ed! Two questions: 1. Does Lauky know yet that he missed this trip? 2. Could you see Spain or France from the island summit?

    Experimental cog shot

At first I thought this was going to mean a shot of an experimental cog--maybe burning cleaner and with less soot. Bad guess, I now get that it's an experimental shot of the "regular" cog. I love it, though; very interesting look. And your link to other photos and posts was well worth it too!

Two Giggly Girls Summit Tecumseh (Sage's 1st 4K)

Lots of amusing elements to this story! Congratulations first to Sage for 4K #1, at an amazingly young age. Mt. Jackson with Alex, Feb. 6, 2010

Trish and Alex: George (baggy pants) and I enjoyed meeting you two on the way up! We all picked a mighty fine day--can the sky get any bluer or clearer than that? Pretty tame wind at the top. And yes, you were a bit of a blur on the way down! This was my first winter 4K, and I'll certainly...
