There has been a baxterstateparkauthority.com site around for at least a couple years. The blog feature started last fall I believe. I'm hoping this new updated site is updated more frequently. A lot can happen in a short time weatherwise in the park and they would updated the conditions very infrequently on the website. Trails and road sections would be closed for a week and the website would still say class 1 day dated over a week earlier. This is seemed to be a problem in the fall when snow started hitting higher elevations. This wasn't a huge deal for me as I live only an hour away but people traveling further I can see this being a hassle.
