Trail Conditions: Lots of mud on the East branch. Can minimize going in too deep by skirting the edges and using any available sticks and stones to reduce sinking in. Some wet spots on the lower ledges only slightly slippery. Ledges higher up were mostly dry. Bugs not a factor.
Special Equipment Required: None.
Comments: This is a fine hike on a beautiful day. Just enough ledges that you felt you did something but not too much. Passaconaway is "in your face" on the lookouts. Tripyramids, Carrigain and everything between hazy but visible. Lots o folks on the trail today, including a lady in flip-flops that I hope we discouraged from going any further.
