Date of Hike: 6/11/2010
Trail Conditions: maybe a mud spot or 2 - mostly dry, no blowdowns, perfect shape
Special Equipment Required: summer gear, bug dope
Comments: This was my first trip to Baxter. The weather was perfect - light breeze, 360 views, not too many bugs. Took our group of six just over 9 hours for the round trip. Love Baxter and apparently got lucky with the bugs and weather - not too many bugs at the camp site or on the trails. Already planning my next trip. Reservations were a piece of cake - loved the rangers.
