Date of Hike: 07/23/2011
Trail Conditions: Very dry. The bridged water crossings had just a trickle under them, so consider this if you're planning on refilling water from mountain sources right now. Otherwise the trail seemed to be well maintained.
Special Equipment Required: Water, poles, sunscreen.
Comments: Thanks to everyone who contributed to the beta thread I started about this. My girlfriend handled it fine, though stopped shy of the summit due to fatigue, not due to the terrain. I went up and was treated to a wonderful view of an extremely hazy sky. I couldn't even see the Adirondacks and could barely see the lake! Oh well.
