I believe number 2 are the cliffs heading up to times square.

Number 4 IS the falls at the base of Allen Slide

Number 7 Is it the Mount Adam's Firetower?

Number 10 is either fish hawk or Indian head cliffs?

Scenes from nothingness???

I see nothing because a lot of photo sites are blocked here at work. :p :D :D

#8, #10

Is at Lake Tear of the Clouds...

#10 is from near the summit of Grace.

For 2, I thought maybe the tough part going up Cliff.

#7 is definitely BLM, as previously stated.

More specifically, it is looking over towards the top of the Great Slide with Giant of the Valley in the background.

1. Catamount as seen from Moose.

2. No one is close yet.

3.

4. Allen Falls.

5. Sugarloaf.

6.

7. Balsam Lake Mountain.

8. Rock next to Lake Tear of the Clouds.

9. Becker Trail head.

10. East Dix/Grace clifftop.

Numbers 2 and 3 are both among the Hundred Highest, No. 6 is not.

The big footprint-like depression of Number 3 is on the top of Noonmark.

Number 6 is a hike that is in the High Peaks guide.

I was hoping Inge might make an appearance and make some guesses. I think she was the one a couple years ago who originally asked for a New York quiz.

#2 - trail on Yard??
Or maybe Moose? This one is bothering me because I know I have been there and can't place it, of course the picture is very small. The logs cut and hanging over the ledge in the background I really feel like I've past.

No to all recent guesses.

Number 2 is a trail on a High Peak.

Here are a couple pictures taken during the same hike:

As far as the other photo (Number 6) goes, here is another hint for it:

It is not as high in elevation as you may think. I know peak_bgr has been there.

Mark, you have them both! Well done.

1. Catamount as seen from Moose.

2. Hunters Pass.

3. Noonmark.

4. Allen Falls.

5. Sugarloaf.

6. Cobble Hill.

7. Balsam Lake Mountain.

8. Rock next to Lake Tear of the Clouds.

9. Becker Trail head.

10. East Dix/Grace clifftop.

I will be heading to the Adirondacks for vacation next week, Hanna willing, so I will try to get some more pictures for another quiz.

I know you threw me and maybe others off when you said this. I thought since people were guessing 46er peaks and you wrote that that it meant it was from one of the other 54. :)
