My map revealed Mink Hollow, the path’s final valley.

?? Wouldn't this be spruceton valley, where the western terminus is, nestled between the DP/North Dome/Sherrill and the CHH peaks of Evergreen/Pack Saddle/Pine Island, continued with Rusk, East Rusk, Hunter..?


I wonder how they liked St. Anne's Peak? :)

These are the three guys that we hiked with a little while when we did the DP in a day earlier this summer. The author is the "Gear Junkie" that I mentioned back when I did my trip report. I chatted with them for quite a while. The writer lives out in Minnesota, and his friends are regular hikers in the NE. They were not familiar with VFTT. Funny to see his story finally make the paper.

Bummer...we didn't even get a mention :p
