Gail and I were planning on doing Allen Sat. but got a late start, lol. As we were driving down at dawn to the ADK's we decided to do something shorter and more scenic. Yvon and Annie passed us on our way down Rt. 87 and waved as they went by.
We don't regret not doing Allen, as these pictures will testify to! We had many great views of the snow on the great range and a stunning hike..... I have to say that doing Noonmark + Round Mt. together is a spectacular hike for views, especially in the fall! Here's a link to the slideshow, hope you enjoy!
