When is the next REI member 20% 0ff one item Sale?

Does anybody know when the next REI Member sale is (Members get 20% off one item)?

Don't know the answer, but I do know that they usually include a coupon with their annual dividend..

AFAIK, REI (and most stores) does not make prior announcements of sales. However, they tend to follow a pattern that is fairly consistent from one year to the next. If you are in a store, ask a salesman--they will often tell you about sales in the near future.

You can also check the store event listings (eg for the Reading MA store: http://www.rei.com/stores/store_events.jsp?store=26). I don't think they generally announce regular sales here, but they do list such events as the Garage Sales.
