Glad you had fun at the Percys! I saw three large birds of prey swooping about South Percy, but wasn't able to get that great a shot of them - I wonder if they were the same bald eagles you saw?

Hey Kevin, I must have posted this late on your last TR, but here's the question: any signs of color starting at Unknown Pond?

It was a total bad experience though, I mean really, we were gone all day and only there at night, so it did serve its purpose. That first day was just-whoa!, what a brew was going on! I would stay there again just a different site. Heard a pack of coyotes at about 3am Sunday morning yippin' & yappin' and headin' in a northerly direction.

October sounds great! We'll look foward to seein' you at some point!

As a note, we found out Sugarloaf 2 does NOT have flushers, no big deal for us. But we will avoid site 7 next time. Downwind of dumpster and privy!

Hi Kevin- I sent a PM of our tentative schedule-hopefully we'll encounter each other at some point!

I'm going to be in the Whites Saturday morning so who knows when I'll be there -- not too late. I'm knocking off 2 low hanging fruit 3ks -- maybe 3 if I have the time. I only have 7 left in the entire state of NH so I cant gobble up too many.

I go out to buy running shoes for the first time in months and suddenly the whole world knows about it!

My wife was wonderin the status of the toilets at Sugarloaf II. They are listed as flush, I always thought they were pits. I didn't even think they had runnin water in the johns.

Thank you! I'd love to attend, but my weekend plans (with regards to hiking) are still all over the place. Maybe I could swing by for a few hours on Saturday evening...? I'll be sure to let you know.

We'll be up on Sept 3. We'll be hikin the 4th & 5th,not sure if doin 2 day hikes back to back or an overnighter, but we'll be in touch if you want to hook up.
