  • I'm going to miss Pat & Audrey's....I leave for Nepal in 3 weeks, will be gone for a Month.
Lots of pics to share when I return though!!
I think lots of people like your stuff! I always look forward to your pics! Keep em coming.
OK, OK, I'm a hiker. You of all people should understand "artistic license"!
Thanks for the green thing. Thinking of you and hope to see/hike with you soon.
I'm so glad Emma will be joining the dog hike! And her human friends too, of course... ;)
Agreed! You guys look great! It was good to see you. You will be awesome saturday, we are very honored !
Hey Kevin, yes, we were there that weekend with our best friends. We only did some minor hiking, such as Angel Falls, The Cascades and a path that goes from the South Arm Road to Richardson Lake along Metallak Stream. I was trying to keep myself fresh for a BSP backpacking trip that started on the day after Labor Day.

    Hope our paths cross soon!

Thanks for the greenie! I get over to Evans Notch quite a lot as it's so nearby. Even so, I always seem to gravitate to the same trails. I've been trying to branch out a bit this summer.
Wow, sorry for the delayed response!! I'm sometimes slow. Yes, I am back in town, for an extended stay. I only know a few trails on Massabesic, I wish they all connected in some way. There is one trail that hooks around the western side of the lake...if you look at a topo map, its a physical feature called "the fang." Have you ever been out there before? I've always been intrigued by that.

    Thanks for the welcome back!
My work schedule for the next week or two may is a bit tight, and doing an overnight right now is iffy.

But I can commit to either an afternoon hike/sunset summit/headlamp evening hike back (and then go home and work) or a headlamp early morning hike/sunrise summit/late morning hike back (and, yes, then go home and work).

    That's better than nothing?
Kevin -- thanks for the green square!

About going back up Madison and Adams, I'm going to do it when conditions for photography are good. And, I'll do sunrise/sunset either or both, too. Oh -- I want to do a scouting trip up Great Gulf and Osgood Ridge in decent weather, too, to make sure the trail's broken out to Osgood Junction. That would be a normal day hike -- early start at daybreak or thereabouts with a summit on Madison late morning/early afternoon. If I get pictures, great, but I'm mainly seeing if the trail's in good shape for a later sunrise hike on the ridge. Interested?
Thanks for the greenie, Kevin! Hope our paths cross soon - maybe up in Rangeley!

    Marty
Thanks for the comments. The credit is in the scenery, not the photographer!
Kevin -- thank you for the feedback on the Cardigan shots. Check back in a few days; I'm going to try to get the shots I REALLY was trying to get, weather permitting.
