Anybody been up to Allen or have any idea on trail conditions to Allen?

Was at the Upper Works trailhead yesterday....30" of snow at the trailheads, looks like someone icefishing Lake Sally....no recent reports of trials to Allen.

The bridge over the Opalescent is still out according to the sign...

With this snow cover and cold weather, everything is perfect to have great time in this playgroung before Febuary...

We think it is a peace of cake to cross the brooks, perfect peace place in Allen slide.

How many days We will be able to resist at this perfect invitation?????

Alain let me know when you go. I think you need to hike Allen and check it out for us. Looks like nobody has been in there yet. If I had half a chance of keeping up with you I would go with you. Looks like I will wait till my Feb trip to try for Allen.
