Quick morning walk from USFS 45 to the Long Trail. Well designed, built, and brushed out. In the mix of ski trails, a few more 2" x 6" blue blazes would be nice; whole trail is gentle, easy to follow.
Beaver Pond Spur leads to a lovely glade overlooking what was once a beaver pond - nice bench for contemplation.
The early autumn leaf-fall is beginning at the upper elevations.
Three hours fifteen minutes, 7.6 miles, two people one dog.
