Haystack Rd. camping

Folks, I've never stayed in the Forest Service sites along Haystack Rd., although have noticed them plenty of times when either driving up the road or hiking it in winter. I'm thinking of staying there next weekend on Fri. night. Does anyone have a sense of whether they fill up or not?

I drove by on Saturday, 7/1 of 4th of July weekend at around 1-2 'o' clock en route to North Twin. Only two or three of the dozen or so sites along the road were filled, and thats a holiday weekend. So my gut says no...
