I've read some comments (not from the manufacturer) to the effect that PolarGuard Delta loses its loft faster than some of the other Polyester filament insulations.

Like BillK, I have the Patagonia Micropuff and have not seen any loss in loft so far (2 years). I make sure I take it out out of the pack after a hike, shake it a couple of times and hang it up, just like I do with down.

I really like the Micropuff. It is also the insulation layer of choice for a whole bunch of AT thru-hikers.
