Well I am walking much better...getting around to do yard work. NOw I am having some pain and stiffness in my ankle and elbows...Doc says it should clear soon, he remains hopefull. I have not been cleared for major exercise yet just the therapy I am getting..Work is nuts and I am trying to catch up on school work. I am still determined to hit the mountains in June....dammit!

Thanks for the greenie, Chip. I had nightmares for months after that incident. We could all have easily been killed. If one of us had stumbled and fell, we would have been trampled. I kept saying afterward, "we have to prepare for these things!" And my husband would say, "HOW do you prepare for something like that?!" We'd been told we might see some horses out in the distance. No one mentioned they would come up to us in a pack!! We never considered that possibility.

Well it was going pretty good until yesterday. Now it hurts alot. Life sucks.

I'm off to the Rockpile on Friday afternoon for an AMC ice climbing trip. We'll be attempting the Tucks headwall, if conditions allow. (If not, we'll prolly hit one of the gullies.) Wish me luck!

We should try to get out on some ice either in CT or maybe the Catskills this winter. Lemme know what your schedule looks like for after the holidays.

Hi Chip -- It looks like they pulled the entire "Insanity on Vose Spur" thread because of some bad language being used on a post. It is too bad, because there was some great information in there.
