Thanks for the beta on the cutoff -- what a great shortcut! The AMC crew invited me to hang out but I wanted to get to my car before the rain!!!
the beaver ponds were amazing!!! omg the difference in color today from yesterday -- great week to be up here!
    Mark,

Karen is working on teaching me how to respond to "greenies" so here goes....many thanks for all the ones you have sent but have been unacknowledged! I'l try to do better in future.
Hey Mark . . . I asked about you since I thought I saw your truck when I pulled in. However, someone said that you'd already left. I got there at about 8:30-ish. Sorry our paths didn't cross this time, but I'm sure they will cross eventually!!
ok, lets coordinate for sunday?? saturday we will be settting up our gear room, etc etc. i think mj wants to build a deck while we are up there, i will be up for hiking sunday -- presis if its nice? what else is on your list. i'd be into some redlining, too.
Thank you for the green spot, Mark. It is indeed wonderful country out that way -- glad your recent hike got to cover some of it.
Agreed! It was an incredible day regardless of views (or lack thereof). We were really glad to have the opportunity to hang with the group. MichaelJ and Sabrina really kept me moving on the way up. Tim was fine, but I was moving a little faster than my "normal pace" - ha ha - Tim says this is good for me. Sure, as long as I don't have to be part of the conversation! Huff/Puff. LOL. We left early from the summit because I am *very* slow on descents. Felt very bad when we found out that Trainwreck had hurt herself and you were all still on the trail on the way down. We totally expected that all your cars would be gone by the time we got to the parking lot.

Tim really wants to join you on a weekday hike, but the next couple weeks are really busy with a camping trip to Maine this weekend and then a fishing trip to Canada after that. Once things settle down, he'll definitely be with you guys! He needs to be challenged.

    Enjoy the weekend!

    Hi Mark:
Thanks for hanging back with me on Saturday. Thanks for the GU. I'll carry it from now on, though I'm more of a chocolate girl. Please send me your Ortho guy's info.
    Sandy
Hey Mark here is a photo of you and the gang on Madison.
Hi Mark, it was great to have the opportunity to spend a FOT48 with you! Yes, the Unknown Pond overnight was really great. I would agree that even from the Fish Hatchery, we really saw minimal rocks all the way up. Tim's really psyched to try it from Stark. What a great name for a town ... Stark NH!!!
