Am looking at a southerly trip this summer, want to spend time around the skykline drive...i know slow a__ camper clogdom! and then travel to the smokys for some time, may hit a couple highest peaks along the way.
Beta on how much time to spend where, gotta do's vs. leave to it to the tourists.
Probably will load the subu with the car coffin and carry tenting gear.-more car camping than backcountry. Info on reservations vs availability most welcome.
Are planning to swing out to coast for final couple days...the son wants some beach time. I only have a 8 days total.
