From the WMNF:

The Blueberry Mountain Trail, including its trailheads located off Lime-Kiln and Long Pond roads in the town of Benton, is closed due to timber harvest activity. There is no parking at either of the trailheads and active harvest operations have commenced. Pedestrian travel is unsafe as trucking, skidding, and felling will occur on and adjacent to the trail. The contract period of the harvest activity is four years, but the closure may be lifted earlier.

Wow. That kind of sucks. That's a beautiful hike and an interesting view of Moosilauke. Good hike to go on with kids. Not too rocky, rooty or steep. Heck, even balanced challenged me managed to do it in just under book time. I'll miss having that trail open.

Too bad. Glad I got my hike in before the closure. A week ago when I was there, there were no signs or other indication that it would be closing.
