Thanks to all for making the newbie feel welcome last night! I entered the dark and forbodeing environment of the Outlook with mild trepidation, thinking that I would wander around muttering "alligator eggs" under my breath until I got acknowledged or escorted to the door!
I headed toward the welcome glow of the fireplace, where I found a likely group, and before I could do my egg thing, I was asked if I was looking for the Views crew.
From that point on I had a very enjoyable (but too short) visit with my new friends. Steve-o, thanks for organizing last night. MichaelJ, Una_dogger, ARM, DougPaul, DaveSunRa, Marchowes, Kevin, Darlene.....great to meet you all. Most of you I was familiar with from 'lurking' on the forum, but I'm pleased to have met you all in person, and hope to be able to hike with you sometime. Matts, sorry I missed you, but I promised my wife I would behave and make it a short night.
My only regret is that none of the gang chose to entertain us by performing on the knarly slopes of mighty Nashoba. The Outlook certainly provides a great vftb, but there wasn't much action on the mogul field last night!
