Hey, anybody know if Mount Washington has its own AM radio station with wx and forescast etc. thx.....

They also have (or used to; the number has apparently changed) a weatherphone you can call to get that prerecorded message, and of course NOAA weather radio broadcasts from the summit on 162.5.

There is an AM radio station (which frequency eludes me right now) for the Mount Washington Valley region which broadcasts the weather report and HIgher summits forecast something like every half hour. The catch is you can only get it from a little south of Conway on up. They also broadcast stuff from the AMC like sugested hikes, etc. Occasionally I will flick it on when in the area.

Might you be referring to WBNC 1050 AM? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WBNC

WHOM 94.9 FM broadcasts from the summit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHOM

only 2 commercial stations broadcast from Washington and they are FM:

No, 1050 am does not broadcasts from the summit. It just runs the summit forecast and Higher summits forecast. And it is only twice an hour at that. The rest of the time it is basically "tourist" talk....where to go, what to do. That kind of thing.
