41 years in a row is a lot, nobody else so far has claimed such a streak although I'm sure somebody is out there. The question would be whether anyone is still hiking various 4k all those years or is just climbing a favorite peak such as Moosilauke every year.

Check the Trail Conditions :)
Several years ago, we met a man (in pressed khakis and oxford shirt) in his 80's on Haystack who told us he'd been up Lincoln/Lafayette every year since he was a teenager. He was completely credible and his stories were captivating. Among my best Whites memories.

This thread got me thinking so I checked my hiking log. I am at 29 different peaks in 29 different years. 19 more to go. I think I will keep this in mind when planning future hikes. There are quite a few years that I hiked a dozen or more mountains, so I have some flexibility as to which summits I assign to those years. I will definitely plan on saving the easiest hikes for the last few years because I will no longer be in my prime by then.

It is so much fun looking back on past hikes and looking forward future ones!

I've have records for 1969 through 1975 and from 1983 to present which easily support a different peak each year and I was just as active during the gap. But unless my hiking partners can fill in the blanks, Ashfordite has an inside track on the $1,000,000.

23 down. Still have some time to get my peak this year.
I could finish by the time I'm 71. Seems possible.

Of course it would be nearer for you to go for 46 in 46 or 35 in 35

Of maybe you can concoct some elixir and do the 772 in 772 :)

I know this is off thread a little, but there is/was a guy "Davis" that hiked up Monadnock every day for ten years, I don't know if he is still at it. That has to be some sort of record.

Super cool! And, Go You, for having kept track!

I have to get in on this one. A few months ago I submitted my NH 4000 Footer application. 48 peaks in 57 years -------- not the one per year talked about here nor the 0.84 peaks per year that it averages. What did happen was a few beginning in 1955 and throughout the rest of the 50’s (there were some prior to that, as a Boy Scout, but I have no documentation,) a lot during 1960 when I spent the whole summer hiking sections of the AT, then no new ones till 2012 when I decided it was time to finish my remaining 24. They’re done ----- I’m not. This season I hope to do the first half over again so I can say I’ve done them all after 70.
Most everyone here already knows this but I’ll reinforce it again for you --------- Keep at it. Getting out on the trail will make you feel younger and it may even fool your body into believing that it is!

ok I just figured it all out. Only 12 done with 36 to go. I'll be 89 years old at completion. It's a goal. As Still Steppin said, Maybe going for this goal will trick my body into believing I am younger than it really is. Hee Hee. It is possible, not probable, but possible. All I have to do is live that long and still be mobile enough to complete the list. Hee Hee LOL- Lots of Laughs and LOL- Lots of Luck to me.
