In keeping with the numbering, this is the 12th quiz. This time, the subjects are photographs. These are all in NH, and all within the traditional confines of the WMNF. Not all are 4Ks, but most were taken while peak bagging. There are a mix of easy, hard, summits, cairns, waterfalls, etc.

RULE: Only one guess, right or wrong, per person per 24-hour period!

MAYBE the usual quick-draw posters can hold off for a short while?

It is encouraged that if you know several then you should only answer the one you judge to be hardest. However you can say "oh I know #1,2,6,8 etc etc blah blah" Just leave them for others.

1) Where is this?

2a) What is this?
2b) Where was I standing when I took the photo?

3) Name this stream and/or location (trail)

4) Where was I standing when I took this photo?

5) Name this peak

6) Where am I standing?

7) On what stream/brook/river is this falls?

8) Where am I standing?

9) Name this falls. Partial credit for location

10) Name this trail:

Enjoy,
Tim

Number 9 looks like Ravine Falls headin' up the Ammy trail. I consider it necessary to stop and take a break there to cool off after the beginning of the really steep part of that trail!

Ok, lets try, even if I don't feel to sure!

2a) The little pond at the north end of Crawford Notch, near the Highland center (sorry, don't know the name, don't have my map with me).

2b) Overlook on Mt. Willard ?

Let's see if I will ridiculize myself now!! :)

1. Hi Cannon Trail Ladders
8. Mount Tom (with the Twins/Zealand/Bonds behind)
9. Ravine Falls on Monroe Brook on the Ammonoosuc Trail.

#2 - you are "right" in that you've identified the location of the water body, but not the name, nor the location of the photo.

#5 is not Flume

10) I'm guessing Flume slide trail.

I'm basing that guess on my experience climbing up North and South slide of Tripyramid, and it didn't look much like that.
