  • Thanks for the greenie! $5.25 for a Sam Adams was pretty steep! But what can you expect at a ski area?! Hope all is well with you!
87 degrees and getting better every day! nice work!
did you get alot of snow up there? we got about 8 inches of the white stuff. i have a spring hill nursery catalog here that's making me itch for gardening!
that would be a very steep bushwack as the eastern slope of Avalon very steep...however I bet you could shave off some of the "corner: coming down the a-z trail..from williard if you followed the brook bed on your left that might be a help as trail follows those uphill by the cascades
Is there a way to bushwack from Willard to Avalon?? I was thinking of hiking up that way on Thurs.
greenies always help as do the many positive comments out there incyberspace..I debated starting this thread but it seems many find it interesting..tks again
Hope your feeling better real soon, thought the greenie would help. I know how tough it is to want to hike and not be able to. But the old saying, "Time Heals Everything."
Hey Silverfox. It was great to see you in good spirits and progressing well after your knee surgery. I know you will do well with Grumpy Gran and the rest of the Over the Hill gang overseeing your recovery.
Thanks for the greenie! That trip was so fun! How's it going? You may recall that only 6 months ago, my BF shattered his pelvis and was completely held together with an external fixator. (You'll have to Google that one!) He was extremely diligent with his PT as he was very motivated to get back to hiking. Now, only six months later, he is fully back to normal and planning a Presie traverse for the next 3 day stretch of good weather. Crazy! The doctors weren't sure if he would be able to walk within one year! Keep motivated. There will be good days and bad. Hang in there!
Thank you for the green square! I'm really backed up in terms of trip reports, but I think we were able to get one or two decent photos today, despite the coulds ;)
Thanks!!! The devil is my favorite so far. I found the hat at an outdoor market in NYC over Christmas.
My eyelashes are long and they have the tendency to grow icicles. I took a self portrait on macro before I went into the hut to warm up.
hey Rocket..I am having my TKR done in a couple of weeks and will have lots of time to play with that then...I appreciate your ehlp..great job hiking out there ..I am so envious..this week my big hike will be Rattlesnake traverse>> ihad a meeting with docs yesterday..they advise keeping up with normal activities as long as possible...the sad thing is they don't consider winter 4ks a normal activity..got to find a new doctor....
