  • Thanks Trish. That key thing actually happened to me. It was a warmish winter day and the snow was wet, and when it got dark everything froze up. I think the fleece long-johns I had on kept the warmth on my legs and let the outer pants freeze. Wasn't so funny at the time but I see the humor in it now.
Thank you for the "greenie" Trish. But most important, you have my sincerest wishes that Alex sets a new record for a speedy recovery, and that each day brings more strength, and bigger smiles!:)

Hi Trish..thanks for the greenie, I passed it along to Tracie. I hope things are well with you and the girls
Hi Trish..I think that the Osceolas done that way are amongst the hardest peaks to get..especially with the out and back..Coming up the chimney bypass areas is one of the few places i used an ice axe last winter..to help pull my sorry butt up that crevice..the other places were on some of the long sidehills in the presis..getting down back towards and off east can be intimidating in any weather..one one trip last year i got so unnerved as to go out via tripoli road and had someone pick me up for a ride back around

great accomplishment on those for you 2..they are tough..saw what i thought your vehicle there as we went back and forthn over the hancocks..which were quite steep but perfect snowshoe conditions..

    hope to see you soon

Thanks, Ridgewalker. The completed book is now in the hands of my editor. She'll suggest the changes she feels are appropriate. However, before I shop my work of fiction, I'd love to have you take a look! It won't be finished for another couple of months, though. What's the topic of your novel? Congrats on having it almost completely finished -- that's a huge accomplishment! Most writers never get even close to finishing a novel!
You are entirely welcome Trish :) if you are looking for feedback, am willing to assist, am a writer of a nearly revised novel. Good luck on the literary trail!
all out of green but a big congrats on your book deal -- pretty impressive. i had a feeling you would be writing a book about your adventures!
Trish, thank you for your well wishes. I'm feeling so much better that I'm going through our winter gear in eager anticipation. Happy holiday season to you all.
thanks you..we had a great day..Happy Thanksgiving to you and the ladies..and Max of course!!
Thanks Trish. I guess I've been pretty fortunate--ten years of parking in the Whites without a break-in so far. My car was broken in to two or three times when I was living in France. BTW when is that new pup coming? I can't wait to see a picture.
