An incredible day on the ridge. Calm winds, perfect temps, fantastic visibility all led to a wonderful day. Only saw a handful of souls all day including an exuberant group of five who were whooping and hollering on summiting Lafayette. Good job guys!

Fangs of ice.

Mt. Liberty and a plethora of peaks. From the summit of Lafayette, I could see Macomb Mountain over in New York, a distance of 107 miles away. Not very often viz is that good.

Winter is coming. The ice is forming. But where's the snow?

John,

I just want to know who is really taking these fantastic photos? Is it you or June?

Same chopper came from the far side of Washington and ducked down low over Mizpah Hut. I wonder what it was up to that day?

Wow, these are some really fantastic shots! I'm with Tim...these photos will make any hiker itch to get up there. Looks like you had a fantastic day.
