    What did Santa bring you?

    I got a soft shell!

I wore it today, and I must say I like it!

    What did YOU get?

Two children who are very pleased with their gifts. (They always are.)
A really nice electric razor from the Mrs. - best shave EVER!
My first extended break from work in 358 days.
A massive powder dump in which to play (snowshoe with the kids) during my time off.

I got a suit, a sport coat and a tie, all from the venerable Joseph A Bank store.

I will be hiking in style this winter.

    tales of tails

There were tails in my stocking (is that anatomically possible?) so I was testing them out all over the yard before work this morning. Snowshoes arrived last year. Repair kit next year?

An awesome, wind proof shell from LLBean (used this morning during snow angel creation).

A JetBoil stove. It's a 3 season backpacker, like me so it will have to wait for it's maiden voyage.
