Hmmmm.... Might be attending. But who can convince me ;)?
You will have a terrible time.
Stay up too late, bonfire too big, too much music, too much beer, too much food, too many friends, too much hiking and skiing.

You'll rue the day.

Doug
Going back for my third dose.

Party in my 'hood

With the party so close it's impossible to resist. Or maybe I'm just a crazy moth drawn to the fire of my demise. Maybe I can get Chip to be my DD. :D Any plans for open jamming time or do you have pretty set sets? One of these days I need to get my blues harp playing out of the closet and into the public. I'm so shy about it tho'.

Very Cool

Bring that harp for sure and PM Sherpak for more specifics. He's sort of the PT Barnum of the music thang. I'm sure he will be up for some jam time. I love harp players and playing rhythm for blues harp.:D

TC: we will have sets, but we love to jam also! Between sets should be perfect. Friday night is wide open. Saturday I'm game to play until we can't anymore! Heck, it's a major pain to lug all that stuff up there: might as well use it!

Blues harp: always good  I also am looking forward to hearing Chip play again! (BTW, now that the cat is out of the bag, you MUST play!)

BTW, Gris and I aren't leaving until Monday (whoops: forgot to tell UFC that one:eek:), so Sunday afternoon jam would not be out of the question if anyone was interested.

Well...let's set the bar nice and low. My blues harp playing is like kindergarten level as is my knowledge of musical keys and stuff. This is how it works in my house: "Chip, I've got my G harp (or C or D or A). Play something I can play along with blues style." And he does. And I just jam around for a while. So...if we can work something like that or someone can tell me what key harp to play I can hang with that. I am really a complete novice.

There. Expectations set nice and low. Just how I like it. :D

Wait, you're coming in Thursday and leaving on Monday??? You know I'm going to have to charge extra for that right???

Actually, I kind of expected that - it's what's happened EVERY year! And it's no problem at all. In fact, if anybody else wants to come a day early and leave a day late it's no problem at all - Mi casa es su casa :)

Also, this is a pet friendly event, I've had e-mails asking if it's OK to bring dogs - sure, as long as they get along with donkey's, there'll be a lot of those there :D

Well

Blues Harp is not equal to the things that angels play in heaven. (unless it's the heaven where Little Walter is....that's a heaven I could be in to!)

:D

TC, the cat is out of the bag and expectations are way high now. Anyone who knows who little Walter is cannot not be considered a novice! We will be disappointed if you cannot channel Johnny Popper riffs all night.:D

sorrry to say gonna have to miss this - its the weekend right in the between 2 baxter trips... have to be a nice husband and dad this weekend.

can't do it all:(

can someone check if my Deicide CD is still in the kitchen player from last year - playing that didn't go over to well late night... hahaha

actually would like it back if possible (its out of print!!)

I hate to miss these events but life being what it is I have to go try and do a Presi Traverse that same weekend. Before and after that weekend I have to not only be a good hubby and daddy but be a good son too.

If there isn't hiking in heaven I'll be one pissed dead guy.

Steve, you know I can't do that weekend :(

Although watching Chomp shoot a bigger gun might be fun. I'll bring my Sigg 9mm  oh, wait, I can't make it!!

Steve, you know I can't do that weekend :

Actually I remember a certain conversation that took place through facebook back on January 7th and 8th that went like this:

You: No not gone, just march is full pretty much. I was planning on it being in april. dang.

Me: You got time to re-schedule - do it!!! You know ya gotta be there.

You: awww do i hafta ?

Me: Nope, but it'd be nice if you were there.

I don't see where it says that you COULDN'T make it - just that you'd have to re-arrange some things.... I think your attitude is BOGUS!!! ;)

Hey now!!! It's not my choice to be busy that weekend.

First, I have the kids and second, I have my Black Belt test that Friday night, so wouldn't be able to come that night even if I didn't have the kids.

I would love to go, but it's just not working. I told you to have it in April like last year!

Ah, I'm bummed.

Carmel and I will be there. She wanted me to take her to some B&B in Maine that weekend but I put my foot down and said that we are going to Palletfest 2009 in VT. Booze, guns, fire. 'nuff said.

:)
