Please tell me this is an April fools joke!

Well, at least you waited until the posthole thread ran its course.

I LOVE my pass!
Lifetime membership for a nominal fee.
Oh... the benefits of aging. :D

* I wrote this because I wanted to check out my new "signature pic."

I spotted a mountain lion late last evening. It vanished before I could snap a photo with my iPhone. I'll be quicker next time.

Yes, I had the same problem with a Jackalope the other day..very photo shy.

It's a toss-up -- pay the fee each time you park in a place that requires one, or get the pass. For two years (of regular hiking), it was cheaper to pay the daily fee, since we weren't parking in fee areas all that much. Now I have a sticker, though I'm still not sure that's the cheaper option for me personally. More of a convenience factor (don't have to make sure I have the cash).

Not needed. If you have a pass, you have to park in selected spots. Those without a sticker get free valet parking.:D

Where are the White Mountains located?

White Mountains are in:

Afghanistan, Safed Koh
Australia, Queens Land
Greece, Island of Crete, Lefka Ori
United States, Alaska
United States, Arizona
United States, California
United States, Nevada
United States, New Hampshire
and
Middle Earth

And Parking passes are recognized at all locations except Middle Earth. They don't allow automobiles there. Just walking trees.

Hike Free and Live...Walker

PS If hiking in Afghanistan, don't forget to wear "Hunters orange". It is hunting season there.
