Three inches in Templeton, MA. Mt Monadnock had 2-3" down low and amounts gradually increased with elevation to 4-5" from the ridge up. Lots of 2-3 ft drifts this morning and very slick, cold, windy, running water and icy. Sure had a winter feeling to it. Sure was beautiful!! Glad the management didn't allow school groups to try to climb it today.

Another 6-12" on the way tomorrow night will make it really look like winter!

Another 6-12" is going to cause a lot of damage. Trees were bent to the limit today along the trails. Like walking in a tunnel. Still too many leaves on the trees. I'm hoping for a drier snow.
