Flown from the highest fire tower in New England on 9/11/11

This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time. None of us will ever forget this day, yet we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world.

Thank you. Good night. And God bless America.

Was that an army helicopter? It was dark green with a red cross symbol on the front?

Here's one more picture from Mt. Carrigain yesterday, a shot from Signal Ridge, looking up the row of small flags there, toward the summit tower (blurred, in the background):

Nice succinct report to capture the spirit of the FOT48 event and day. The flags lining signal ridge look great!

It sure was amazing, Sabrina . I was proud to be part of the most excellent Carrigain crew. The Pledge of Allegiance at 2 pm was very moving!

I will add to Jeremy's fine photos later in the week.

I was proud to be part of this excellent undertaking and cause, even though I was a drone, toting nothing. On top of everything, it was a great hike to a premier view summit in good company on a nice day. One more photo of the Flags on Signal Ridge and the Tower:

and a close-up of Old Glory on the Tower:

A few more photos are here.
